Company Overview

Serving the Sacramento and Northern Nevada Sales Territory for seventeen years, Galena Technology Group has established itself as the premier Electronic Manufacturer's Representative to the marketplace spectrum of manufacturers, customers and franchised distributors.
Mr. Bruce Wellons founded Galena Technology in 1984 with Motorola Semiconductor to represent its products and services to the Northern Nevada marketplace. In 1993, Galena Technology Group expanded to Central and Northern California. Beginning in 1999 the company earned two additional opportunities by aligning with ON Semiconductor and assuming direct sales coverage for Hewlett Packard, Roseville for both Motorola and ON Semiconductor.
Galena Technology maintains a deliberate sales strategy of a tightly focused, complementary computing solution product offering. Such an approach accomplishes several objectives in a single call. The strategy is:
| · |
Primary Our sales calls begin at concept and at the core of the design. |
| · |
Intuitive One functional solution leads to the next and to the glue that holds it together. |
| · |
Influential Our print position leads to other function blocks. |
| · |
Dedicated Our design involvement spans the life cycle of the customer's product allowing multiple new product introduction opportunities. |
Such history and strategy provides critical sales advantages to our principles in terms of market share, customer base, product application and most importantly; access to customers that count.
Sacramento Marketplace

Geographically, the area extends from Visalia (south of Fresno) north to the Oregon border and East from Vacaville to the Nevada border. The Nevada territory includes all of Nevada except for Clark County. Collectively this is the Sacramento Sales Territory. There exist close to 300 active customers in California and over 50 in Nevada. With few exceptions, the territory is considered an embedded micro- controller marketplace serving an industrial end-customer base. Predominant applications are Audio/Video, Security, Gaming, Medical, RF and Industrial Control. Notable exceptions are Diamond Flower, Hewlett Packard, 3Com, and Intel.
